The Nufarim Pool

The Nufarim Pool - part of the Mekorot Hayarkon National Park is a stunning pool where the yellow Nufar grows.

Its specific gravity is smaller than the weight of the water, so it "floats" above them, and it is spectacular.

The pool is a rich habitat for aquatic plants and animals, especially Lavnun Yarkon, which has already disappeared from most of Israel's coastal streams. He survived extinction and lived in a pool.
