אי יפיפה בליבה של וורוצלב, במקום בו החלה להתפתח העיר העתיקה במאה התשיעית לספירה. האי הפך למקום פולחן דתי מיד בתחילה, והפך לארמון מלכותי כאשר מלך משושלת פיאסט בנה כאן את ארמונות ב-1260.
האזור כולו משרה אווירה של רוגע ושלווה. במקום מסעדות, בארים, בתי קפה וחנויות מזכרות.
הכנסיה מרשימה ביותר. כניסה לקפלות היפות ביותר היא בתשלום, כמו גם הטיפוס למגדל התצפית.
