Tel Gezer - An easy, circular trail with stunning viewpoints.
The place is of great historical importance. 26 archeological layers of cities built there over more than 3500 years (from the Chalcolithic period to the Early Roman period) were found there.
Remains of buildings are scattered in the area. Even those who are not interested in archeology will enjoy the amazing view from the hill.
After visiting Tel Gezer you can go down to Ein Varda (about 20 minutes walk or about 5 minutes drive). This is a small round natural pool. The area around the pool is dedicated to the memory of Itai Steinberg. He loved to spend time there and was killed in the Second Lebanon War.
Enjoy🤗
