The visitor center in Mitzpe Ramon overlooks the beautiful view of the crater.
The center consists of several halls - the first two are dedicated to Ilan Ramon. They tell the story of his life, the training for the ferry - the life and death of the first Israeli astronaut.
The other two halls are devoted to geological issues. One has a movie screened, and the other has beautiful insolation.
At the exit, you should look around the magical landscape.
A few minutes’ walk from there; you will reach Chai Ramon - a desert garden where you can see small animals part of desert life and among the different types of rodents, snakes, lizards, and more. The children are given a riddle to walk through between the cages
A five-minute drive from the visitor center, you will find the Sculpture Park. The park combines wild nature with works of art. Huge stones are scattered in the space, and next to it, there is a fantastic view of the crater.
Enjoy🤗
