Sheikh Abreich farm is a charming organic farm that has just opened in Kiryat Tivon.
Sela and Ella are two friends who operate this special place together. Sela is a carpenter who built everything himself, and Ella oversees the organic vegetable garden.
We drank tea from the bone fire and took a tour of the organic garden. We tasted the greens and bought lettuce and herbs. We chose Turkish spinach (which was so delicious I ate some of it straight from the garden), parsley, coriander, lettuce. The smell of the vegetables, when Ella took them out of the flower bed, was intoxicating. Sela and Ella also sell spreads, crackers, healthy snacks that Ela prepares, organic eggs from their coop, and vegetables in the small shop.
