Canongate Kirkyard

Canongate Kirkyard is a churchyard around Canongate Kirk on the Royal Mile that served as a cemetery from the late 16th century to the mid-20th. Here lies the economist Adam Smith ("The Wealth of the Nations"), the poet Robert Fergusson and many Bishops, ministers, Professors, and other VIPs.
