Thessaloniki Holocaust Memorial

The Holocaust Memorial is a place to pause and remember the Jewish community devastated by the Shoah. On 11 July 1942, Jewish men were assembled in Liberty Square, humiliated and registered for forced labour. Mass deportations to Auschwitz took place the following year; these were separate events.
