The museum has four floors and fifteen fascinating exhibits, including an exhibit on the Ute Native American tribe, on their art, customs, and history; An exhibition about the struggle of Latin American workers for rights against the white majority; about racism in Colorado; about the imprisonment of Americans of Japanese origin during World War II; about the massacre of the Native Americans; about the difficulties and challenges in settlement of the West; About the history of the struggle of the LGBTQ community in Colorado; an exhibition about the gold miners; and more.
In addition, the museum has quite a few attractions for children and families, including a ski jump simulator, a multimedia presentation in a closed cabin, and creative activities.
