Dostoyevsky Literary Memorial Museum

Dostoyevsky Literary Memorial Museum

The museum presents the family apartment where Dostoevsky lived from 1878 until his death in 1881. He had also lived briefly in the same building in 1846. The apartment was reconstructed using archival plans and contemporary accounts; it did not survive entirely unchanged from his lifetime.

Boaz particularly enjoyed the study, where the writer worked on The Brothers Karamazov, and learning about family life through the audio guide. We warmly recommend it to literature lovers.

In addition to the apartment, there is an exhibition about the writer's life and work.
