Ermou Square

Ermou Square

Ermou Square was full of life on the Saturday evening we visited, with cafés, restaurants and bars busy with locals and visitors. The first restaurant we tried was so crowded that the staff barely had time for us. Eventually, we found a lovely crêperie and ordered two savoury crêpes and a sweet one.

The square was developed in cooperation with the European Union, which wanted to help revitalize the urban center of the city, and it seems that it certainly succeeded.

It was an enjoyable evening, and we recommend including the area in a visit. Expect weekend crowds; if there is a particular restaurant you want to try, check whether you can book ahead.
