Larnaca Saturday Market and Municipal Market

During our November 2022 visit, we enjoyed the small Saturday market with its vegetables, cheese, oil and baked goods. It was a pleasant central stop near Saint Lazarus Church and Finikoudes. The photographs in this article show that visit.

The place has changed since then: the new Municipal Market opened in March 2023, and a farmers’ market operates in its yard on Saturday mornings. The complex includes food and local-product shops, with dining and seating areas on other levels. Arrive early and check the tourism board’s operating information, as the farmers’ market and the whole building do not share identical hours.
