Finikoudes Beach & Boardwalk

Finikoudes is a lovely sandy beach with a palm-lined promenade and restaurants, cafés and bars opposite. We visited in mid-November 2022 and still saw people swimming and sunbathing. We liked being able to move easily from a waterfront walk to a coffee or meal.

The castle and Grand Mosque stand at the southern end, with the marina area to the north. The amusement facilities we saw there were not operating during our visit, so check any specific activity before making a special trip with children.

A sunset cruise departing from Larnaca is another option, separate from the activities we tried. Check the departure point, what is included and suitable weather conditions.
