Tourrettes-sur-Loup: A Quiet Stone Village Above the Cliffs
The stone houses stand above the cliff, and between the alleys there are beautiful views of the surroundings. We enjoyed walking around here, not feeling that a list of sites should be sufficient.

The road from the parking lot to the village
We parked in a parking lot that was free at the time of the visit, about a five-minute walk away. From here it is worth looking for the old trail that runs between the houses to the Old City. It was in our eyes a more pleasant and beautiful way to enter the village than the roadside walk.
Already on the way from the parking lot you can see the houses adjacent to each other above the cliff. The old trail passes between them, and occasionally a view opens from it. In our eyes this is a beautiful way to start the visit to the village.

The flowers have a story here too.
Tourette-sur-Loup has been associated with violet cultivation for nearly 150 years, and especially with the fragrant strain Victoria. The picking season lasts from October to March, so in September, when we visited, it was not the time to see the flowering at its peak. The Bastide aux Violets Museum and the Siglias Greenhouse exhibit this agricultural tradition. We have not visited them, but it is worth getting to know the connection between the village and the flower associated with it.
Walk around the alleys at ease
We wandered among the stone houses, looking into the landscape and entering the church. The main pleasure was walking through the village itself. We were not looking for a great attraction, and the alleys and quiet were definitely enough.

If you're debating between Tourette-sur-Loup and Saint-Paul de Vance In St. Paul, you can combine galleries, the Polon Chapel, and the nearby Mage Foundation. Tourette-sur-Loup was more suited to us for a quiet stroll between the stone houses. It was interesting for us to visit both of them that day and feel the difference.
How to connect to the track
From here we continued to Saut du Loup Falls Vel Gordon The vehicle we rented through.DiscoverCars Allow us to integrate the villages and the landscape stops on the same day. It is worth leaving enough time for the winding roads, and if it is too late, give up one stop so as not to rush.
