Panagia Faneromeni, The Old Greek-Orthodox Church

We came across Panagia Faneromeni while walking towards the Salt Lake. Despite being known as the old church, it looked exceptionally well kept and recently refreshed to us. The smaller building dates from the early 20th century, with a larger modern church beside it.
An ancient burial chamber beneath the complex was later used for worship. That area was under renovation during our visit, so we cannot describe an interior visit. It makes a lovely stop along the way; check the if you hope to enter the underground part too.
