A short and pleasant walk in the forest.
To enjoy Tel Hadid you need to find a rainy Shabbat or a beautiful day, not Shabbat. Why? Because the entrance is through Ben Shemen and on beautiful, dry Saturdays, it is usually packed with travelers.
To get to Tel Hadid you drive in Ben Shemen Forest. You can stop at lots of places along the way for a picnic.
The lone tree at the top of the hill is a great place to stop for a picnic or a coffee break.
Next to the hill, you will find the “Roi lookout point” - in memory of Roi Cohen from Beit Nehemiah. From there, you can see large parts of the center. You can leave the car in the parking lot near the hill, walk / run / ride the trails, and most importantly - breathe some forest.
Enjoy🤗
