Larnaka Castle

Larnaca Castle stands at the southern end of the Finikoudes promenade. Its origins are medieval, while Ottoman alterations helped shape the building seen today. During British rule it served as a prison and was also used for executions.

Today it houses a small museum, and climbing to the walls offers a view over the beach and promenade. It fits comfortably into a walk around the centre. Check the official opening and admission information.
