The Pushkin House Museum is dedicated to the last few months of the great poet life that died in a dual at 37.
The visitors get and audio guides, which tell the hallucinatory story that ended the poet's life. He got killed in a duel with an enthusiastic suitor of his wife, a former military man. The suitor was so obsessed with the poet's wife that he even married her sister so he could be near her.
The house is well preserved. Visitors are required to wrap their shoes in unique covers during the visit.
