A charming water trail near the Hermon River Reserve.
In another post, I recommended a water trail in the lower Banias. This time we went to another area of the Hermon River Reserve, closer to Shar Yishuv. There are spots where you can sit and have a small picnic or a coffee break between the trees.
The water is icy – it is so good to jump into it in this heat.
You can bring mattresses, tubes, drift a bit with the current, and come back.
You write in Waze/Google Maps: Nabi Yehuda. There is a brown sign pointing there, and then you enter a well-paved side road. A few meters to the left, you will see a sign for the Hermon River Reserve.
Park on the side of the road and walk to the stream. There is a neat path that goes down to the creek.
It is free, and there is no need to register.
You should be careful of the drift of the water. There is no lifeguard, and swimming is the responsibility of the people who enter the water
Enjoy🤗
