The Downtown Mall is a pedestrian street, full of shops, restaurants, and entertainment, located in historic buildings. Lovely place to travel when the weather is convenient or to sit for a meal or drink.

The Downtown Visitors Center is located in the east end of the Downtown Mall and was very helpful with lots of maps, brochures, and good advice for the itinerary.
