- Driving in the USA
If you're planning on driving in the United States as an outside traveler, it's important to familiarize yourself with the country's driving rules and regulations to ensure a safe and enjoyable journey. Here are some tips to keep in mind: Driving Rules: Drive on the right-hand side of the road: In the USA, cars drive on the right-hand side of the road, and you should keep to the right unless you are overtaking another vehicle. Obey speed limits: The speed limit varies from state to state, and it's important to adhere to it. The speed limit is posted in miles per hour (mph) and not kilometers per hour (km/h). The maximum speed limit on US highways is usually 70 mph (112 km/h), but this may vary in some states. Seatbelts: Wearing seatbelts is mandatory in the USA. Drivers and passengers must wear seat belts at all times, and children under the age of 8 must be secured in a child restraint system. DUI: Driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited and can lead to severe legal consequences. Right on red: Unless a sign prohibits it, you can make a right turn on a red light after coming to a complete stop and checking for any oncoming traffic. Cell phone usage: While driving, using a handheld cell phone is illegal in many states. Some states may allow for hands-free usage, but it's best to check before starting your journey. Yielding: You must yield to other vehicles when you are entering a road, merging with another vehicle, or making a left turn. Always check for any oncoming traffic before making a turn. Turning Left on Green and Yielding: In the USA, it's common to turn left on a green light. However, it's important to yield to oncoming traffic before making the turn. This means you should wait for a gap in the traffic before proceeding with the turn. If there is a left turn signal, wait for the signal to turn green before making the turn. Different rules between States: There are some variations in driving rules between states in the USA. For example, some states have stricter DUI laws than others, and speed limits may vary. It's important to research the specific rules of the state you will be driving in before starting your journey. Need to rent a car in the USA? click here.

- Zion National Park
We recently had a fantastic day trip to Zion National Park and just had to share our experience with you all. We were lucky to visit just one day before the shuttle system started operating. So we could drive along the scenic road and enjoy the breathtaking views. However, the shuttle system sounds like it will be very convenient. Once it's in operation, private vehicles won't be allowed on the scenic drive. However, that's okay because the road is short. Plus, traveling on the shuttle from point to point seems like a fun adventure with plenty of short and long trails to explore along the way. During our trip, we stopped by Weeping Rock, a rock formation that looks like it's crying. Seeing water pouring out of the rock like tears is such a beautiful sight. It's truly a natural wonder that you won't want to miss. Overall, we had a fantastic time at Zion National Park, and we highly recommend it to anyone who loves the great outdoors. Whether you're into hiking, sightseeing, or just taking in the natural beauty of the world around you, Zion has something for everyone.

The highlight of the aquarium is the 1.3 million gallon Shark Exhibit, which features a walk-through tunnel that allows visitors to get up close and personal with the marine life. Despite its size, the aquarium is well-designed and informative. It has interactive displays and educational signage that can teach visitors about the different species of sharks, rays, turtles, and fish that call the aquarium home. Plus, visitors can participate in various animal encounters, like feeding the stingrays or diving with the sharks, which can be a unique and exciting experience. Of course, the entrance fee can be expensive, and the visit may be short compared to other aquariums. So, if you're on a tight budget or have limited time, you should skip this attraction. However, suppose you have kids and are looking for a fun and educational experience. In that case, the Shark Reef Aquarium could be a great way to spend a few hours in Las Vegas. Overall, while the Shark Reef Aquarium may not be the largest or most expansive aquarium out there, it can still offer visitors a unique opportunity to see various marine life up close. - Antelope Canyon
Antelope Canyon is a stunning natural wonder located near Page, Arizona. This magnificent geological formation has been carved out by wind and water over thousands of years, creating a series of narrow passageways and beautifully textured rock formations. The Antelope Canyon is located on Navajo land and is managed by the Navajo Nation Parks and Recreation department, which requires visitors to take guided tours to enter the canyon. This helps to preserve the area and protect it from the damage that unguided visits could cause. Two tours are available to explore Antelope Canyon: the upper canyon and the lower canyon. Both tours are led by knowledgeable guides who will share information about the area's geology, history, and culture. The upper canyon visit includes a 10-min jeep ride to reach the entrance and last about an hour and a half, while the lower canyon is accessed via a staircase that descends into the canyon and lasts about an hour. The canyon itself is absolutely breathtaking, with stunning rock formations that are truly a wonder to behold. The guides provide insights into the history and geology of the area and share tips on how to get the best photos with your phone or camera. However, it is worth noting that the tours are quite expensive. The upper tour costs more than $100 per person, while the lower tour costs more than $60 per person. Therefore, if you're short on time or funds, we recommend skipping the upper canyon tour and opting for the lower canyon only, as it offers a similar experience at a lower cost. In conclusion, the Antelope Canyon is an incredible natural wonder that is definitely worth a visit. The Las Vegas Strip is one of the most iconic streets in the world, and it is full of extravagant hotels and casinos that offer endless entertainment options for visitors. One of the most unique hotels on the Strip is New York New York. It is designed to look like the skyline of New York City, complete with a replica of the Statue of Liberty and a roller coaster that takes you around the hotel. Inside, you can find a variety of dining options, including a Shake Shack and a New York-style deli. Another hotel that stands out is Paris, which is modeled after the city of love. It features a replica of the Eiffel Tower, as well as a beautiful fountain and a cobblestone street lined with quaint shops and restaurants. You can even take an elevator to the top of the tower for a breathtaking view of the Strip. Venetian is another popular hotel that transports you to another place - this time, to Venice, Italy. It is a great choice for those looking for a classic Las Vegas experience. Ultimately, all hotels aim to draw tourists in to sit at gambling machines. We are not gambling types, and all the noise and ringing of the Strip hotels gives a profound sense of artificiality and fakeness. Nevertheless, it's worth visiting - even to get a glimpse of what many in the world, or at least in the West, see as the ultimate vacation. So we looked around and continued to travel. The open spaces interest us more.
